FAQ

We sell exclusively the products of the most famous American and European manufacturers of party programs and balloons. All products have passed controls to determine that they do not contain dyes and materials that may be harmful for your health.

We do not purchase goods of dubious quality and origin, directly from China – via AliExpress and similar platforms.

Pick-up on the same day is possible for a smaller number of balloons because most people schedule orders in advance, which we have to make on time (issue at the scheduled time).

Please schedule your orders in advance so that we can fulfill your wishes.

Latex balloons filled with helium should be picked up a few hours before the event, especially during the summer months. As for foil balloons, you can pick them up one day in advance. Balloons are quite sensitive and it is important that you read how to take care of them so that they last the longest.

The duration of balloons mostly depends on the material from which the balloon is made, as well as the air temperature. Helium expands in the heat and will come out of the balloon much faster during the summer months. Even during the winter, if it stays in the cold for a long time, the balloon will release helium faster. Latex balloons last the shortest.

  • Ordinary rubber balloons (latex) last the shortest. These balloons will shrink a little after a few hours, and will continue to gradually shrink until they fall to the floor.
  • Foil balloons float for a minimum of 3-5 days, and up to several months. These balloons can fly for a long time, but they will not look fully inflated all the time. After a few days they may look a little deflated, but they will still float. During the summer months, they will release helium much faster.
  • Balloons made of stretchable plastic (bubble balloons) look “like new” for the longest time. These balloons should look fully inflated for a few days, unless they have a custom print on them (after a day, the print starts to peel off because of the shrinking).
  • Confetti balloons, which are made from clear latex balloons, should be picked up on the day of the event. Due to the membrane created by the HI-FLOAT gel, after a few hours the balloon will fog up a bit and will not look nice (closed space). If you keep the confetti balloons outside, they will fog up much faster.
Balloons with confetti fall to the floor the fastest, due to the weight of the confetti and the latex material that releases helium the fastest. If you keep the confetti balloons outside, they will fog up after a few hours.

HI-float gel is used to extend the life of latex balloons. The air time depends on the conditions where the balloons are placed.

It can happen that a balloon is sold before we get to remove it from the site soon after. That’s why it’s best to call us and check whether a balloon is in stock and reserve it before you come to the store.

In the shop, it is possible to pay with cash and payment cards. If you pay via bank account (invoice), your order will be processed after your payment has been deposited into our account.

Due to the poor quality of Chinese balloons that are mostly brought in for filling, Happy Balloons does not offer a filling service of balloons with helium.

Foil balloons are more durable, they don’t make noise when they burst and they can’t hurt when they burst.

Rubber (latex) balloons are the easiest to burst and can cause injury when bursting. Small parts of rubber balloons can lead to suffocation if the baby tries to swallow them.

We do not recommend inhaling helium, it displaces oxygen, and it is possible to lose consciousness due to lack of oxygen if you inhale helium.

Important information

Keep helium balloons away from heat sources (sun, heaters, fireworks, candles) and cooling devices (air conditioners, fans, etc.)
